In my role within the DentHire project, I played a key role in developing a revolutionary platform that brought dentists, dental hygienists, and other stakeholders together by leveraging Deno, React, and PostgreSQL. The project aimed to create a LinkedIn-style application tailored to the dental industry, serving as a bridge in the hiring process.
My responsibilities were concentrated on enhancing the user interface, and I contributed significantly to UI improvements using Tailwind CSS, ensuring a visually appealing and intuitive design throughout the application.
A critical aspect of my contribution involved implementing the chat feature, a pivotal component of DentHire’s functionality. Leveraging websockets, I enabled real-time communication with responsive chat capabilities, ensuring seamless and instant interaction between users. This feature not only facilitated communication but also incorporated real-time notifications, enhancing the overall user experience and making DentHire an efficient and dynamic platform for dental professionals to connect, share recommendations, and streamline the hiring process.
