To automate the setup including: names, authentication email addresses, licenses, etc. there is an inherent connection between Business Central and Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).

In the Users page, under the Home tab, select Update users from Microsoft 365 to pull information stated above about users into the BC environment.

It can take up to 72 hours for the user configuration changes to be reflected in BC.

Once users information is pulled over from Entra ID, check the user card to see if the correct information has been inputted. In my case, I applied a BC premium license to my account.
