In light of battle season coming up, this week’s class will cover battle preparation and power integration. Although the students’ skill levels have drastically improved, the ability for them to integrate power moves into their sets in battle contexts have yet to be explored.

Power Integration: Explore the different ways to integrate power into sets by incorporating them seamlessly.
- Windmill integration: The integration of windmill in moves is one of the most common power move integrations in breaking. It comes in many forms:

- Footwork: 6 step entry to windmill
- Headsweep
- Come up with novel entry

Power Consistency Drill: This drill will focus on doing at least each power move 3 times before moving on to execute the rest of a set. This will ensure that we are showcasing a decent amount of power and avoiding the usage of a power move once.

Battle Readiness: We will use this time to cypher and remind ourselves important battle concepts specific to battling:
- Presence: Eye contact, Direction, Pacing and Character
- Novelty: Unique transitions, Misdirection
- Wow factor: Dynamics, Blow ups and Creative moves
- Musicality: Interaction to musical vibe
- Execution: Clean and powerful
- Foundation: Making sure there are fundamental elements to your set
